Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting!

This homemade cream cheese frosting will be a great touch to any cake you decide to put it on!

  • Mixer
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter ((1 Stick))
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar ((500g))
  1. Combine butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until creamy.

  2. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir well to combine.

  3. With mixer on low, gradually add powdered sugar until completely combined.

Strawberry Compote

This strawberry compete is easy to make and pairs well with different desserts. It can be mixed into cake batter and frosting or used as a topping or ice cream and other desserts.

  • Sauce Pan
  • 500 grams Strawberries (Sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (100g )
  • 1 tbps Water
  • 2 tsps Lemon juice
  1. Rinse and remove stems from strawberries.

  2. Slice strawberries and place into a sauce pan over medium-low heat.

  3. Add sugar, water, and lemon and mix with the sliced strawberries.

  4. Once strawberries have softened, after about 5-7 minutes, mash strawberries to break them down.

  5. Stir occasionally until compote is reduced by about half.

  6. Allow compote to cool and serve or place into an air tight container and refrigerate for up to two weeks.

Chocolate Ganache Drip

This chocolate ganache consistency is perfect for drip cakes or for using as a filling.

  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chip (semi-sweet)
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  1. Add chocolate chips to a medium sized bowl

  2. Microwave heavy cream for 1 minute or until it starts to bubble

  3. Add heavy cream to chocolate chips and allow to sit for 1 minute

  4. Using a whisk, mix the chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream together until combined

  5. Now using a spatula, scrape down the sides of the bowl to make sure all the ingredients are incorporated

  6. If pieces of chocolate are not melted completely, microwave for a few seconds then continue to mix until completely combined

  7. Allow ganache to set for one hour at room temperate or can be placed in the fridge for a faster set time
